The Wizards of the Black Circle used a location spell to locate the White Circle, and rhe spell summoned an image of Roxy at Love & Pet. After the Winx saved the burning barn, Bloom offered to hold onto the White Circle for Roxy. With it, she summoned the creatures of the sky and forest to come and attack the Wizards of the Black Circle, causing them to retreat. Roxy then picked up the White Circle, ran out of the burning barn, and lifted it up to the sky. Ogron was surprised to see the circle and tried to pick it up, but it burned him and he recoiled in pain, dropping the White Circle back onto the floor. Roxy found the White Circle inside a burning barn on the childhood farm a mysterious voice in her dreams led her to. Over time, the circles were destroyed by the Wizards of the Black Circle, leaving only one left. The White Circles acted as the links between Tir Na Nog and the Magic Dimension. The White Circle can be shrunk to ring-size via a magic spell. The glow of the circle will intensify during this process and may even cause rays of the magic to shoot from around the circle. Magic can manifest itself in the form of a red-purple ball inside the middle of the circle and can be shot out of the center. Streaks of orange lightning can move about the surface of the sphere. In some cases, the magic glow surrounding the circle can be focused into a large, body-sized sphere that will surround the person holding it to either restrain or empower them. Depending on the user, it will glow or pulsate blue, which has been described as "the Earth's flames" or pink, which will deepen to a red-purple when an attack is being formed.

Magic can be channeled through the White Circle. The White Circle is a white ring with four white oval shapes along it. The White Circle also allowed Earth Fairies imprisoned in Tir Na Nog to possess free Earth Fairies who were close to it. The White Circle is magically opposed to the Black Circle. The White Circle can also take its user to wherever they wish. It can also be used as a means of contact between fairies and in combat due to its magic-enhancing and defensive abilities. It can also be believed that the eight stages signify the passing of time and how Yūko can control it.The White Circle is a powerful item that acts as a key to Tir Na Nog, the realm of the Earth Fairies. It is unknown if these things have anything to do with the eight stages of the moon shown on the Magic Circle. Yūko also seems to always enjoy the night time and often stays up until late hours of the night just sitting in the back yard of the shop or standing beneath the cherry blossom tree. In xxxHolic, Yūko will sometimes ask Watanuki for more sake with her dinner in order to celebrate the full moon. It is unknown what the circle symbolizes though one could think that it means that Yūko "sees" and "knows" everything since she can travel to different worlds and through time.

The eye in the center of the circle matches the eye that is sewn into Yūko's dress which she wears every time she meets the group in Tsubasa. This shows that her power is incredibly unique and unlike any other. However, Yūko's magic circle looks nothing like any other character's magic circle and is completely original. Throughout the holic and Tsubasa series, we see that many magic circles resemble one another. Yūko's magic circle symbolizes her power and so all the smaller symbols within her Magic Circle tell about different aspects of her unique abilities. The smallest circles on the edge of the entire magic circle are the zodial signs. The fourth diagonal looks like an infinite symbol. Three of the symbols in the diagonals of the circle are the Rayearth "machine" symbols. The smaller circles on the diagnols contain the avatars of the mashin in MKR. The circles that are directly upwards, downwards, and to the sides (north, south, east and west) contain a symbol that looks similar to the staff that the Tsubasa group paid to Yuko in one of the chapters. Beyond these symbols, there are another 8 circles, each with a symbol inside.

The symbol in the center is an eye which is surrounded by the 8 stages of the moon. Yūko Ichihara's magic circle is bright purple and contains many symbols.
